Today on our blog we’re featuring someone very important: Co-Founder and CEO of the Home Dispatch, Amirah Raveneau-Bey. In our last post Amirah shared about her personal journey that led to starting The Home Dispatch. Now we’re getting back to basics to learn a bit about her role with THD and what she’s most excited about for our near future.
1. What is your role with The Home Dispatch?
I am the CEO of the The Home Dispatch and my primary goal is to create a product that people love. I want our customers to know that we will be there with them as they navigate and tackle all their projects and repairs- big and small. I want to hear the frustration and ideas and help create a business that puts our customer first and let them do all the things they want to do in their home. I want our customers to feel good and comfortable at home—one of the most important places we all spend our lives and create moments in.
2. Latest home challenge you tackled?
Since I work from home our family needed a better Wi-Fi connectivity to keep up with our needs. My husband and I did a ton of research asking our neighbors to help identify a different company.
3. Next home challenge you want to tackle?
Since we are home more now, we’ve realized how important lighting is. Now we want to update our window treating to allow more light into parts of our home. When work slows down, I hope to connect with some of the amazing companies out there to help us get it done!
4. Which next steps for The Home Dispatch are you most excited about?
I am really excited about inviting more users to test our product. They will have a front row seat helping us build a product that they want to use over and over again, as well as recommend to their neighbors. I want their imaginations to go wild and take us to a better future of homeownership.
